Tamara W. Barrett

Tamara W. Barrett built her practice on a simple belief: knowledge is power, and the more information a client has, the better decisions they can make. That philosophy shapes everything she does, from negotiating the fine print of a business deal to helping a family put an estate plan in place they can actually understand.

Tamara has spent the majority of her career as a solo practitioner, working closely with business owners on transactions and deal negotiations, and with individuals and families on estate planning. She takes pride in being the kind of attorney who explains the “why” behind the advice, not just the paperwork, so clients leave every meeting feeling more confident than when they walked in.

Tamara earned her degree in International Business and Management from Baylor University, an experience that still shapes how she approaches negotiations and cross-border business matters today. She went on to earn her law degree in 2011 from Texas Wesleyan School of Law, now known as Texas A&M University School of Law. Tamara is conversational in several languages, including Spanish and German, which allows her to connect with an even broader range of clients.
